Regter Hosea Angula sal môre 'n uitspraak lewer in twee afsonderlike appèl-sake wat deur twee veroordeelde mans aangebring is en hulle hoop om hul vonnisse te laat hersien. Jonas Rupare Kaleyi is in September 2021 in die Rundu-streekhof skuldig bevind aan verkragting en aanranding en is veroordeel tot 10 jaar gevangenisstraf en 'n boete van N$1 000 of alternatiewelik drie maande gevangenisstraf. Sy appèl is teen sy skuldigbevinding en vonnis. Bonny Titus is skuldig bevind aan een aanklag van handel in dagga ter waarde van N$41 500 en in Junie 2022. Hy is veroordeel tot 36 maande gevangenisstraf, waarvan 12 maande opgeskort is vir vyf jaar. Hy appelleer teen sy vonnis. Beide appèlle is deur die Staat verdedig.
