Your one-stop sheet metal partner
Windhoek Gutter Supplies is a family-run business providing rainwater goods, gutters, and a wide range of sheet metal solutions to clients across Namibia.
The company manufactures and installs gutters, while also offering services such as guillotining, bending, plasma cutting, and custom fabrication. Over the years, it has expanded its product range to include air-conditioning ducting, hot-water “donkeys,” farming implements, trailer components, mudguards, base plates, U-bolts, and other purpose-made items, making it a true one-stop sheet metal supplier.
The business was established in 1996 by its founder, who came from a sheet metal background. He seized the opportunity to acquire machinery from a local manufacturer and began by supplying rainwater goods and manufacturing gutters. As the business grew, installations were added to its services. In 2000, his son joined, and under his involvement, the company developed further into a diversified sheet metal enterprise.
A major step forward came in 2002 with the acquisition of a guillotine and a bending machine, which broadened the company’s capabilities significantly. This opened the door to serving more industries, offering cutting and bending for trailer dropsides, mudguards, and other custom products, while also strengthening its role as a supplier to the construction sector.
One of the company’s key strengths lies in its turnaround time. From the beginning, Windhoek Gutter Supplies has worked to ensure that once a quotation is accepted and payment is made, customers can expect their order to be ready within 48 hours. This speed, combined with in-house manufacturing and zero outsourcing, guarantees both efficiency and quality.
Although based in Windhoek, the company supplies products nationwide, with customers stretching from the southern border to Katima Mulilo in the north. Currently employing nine full-time staff, Windhoek Gutter Supplies also provides training opportunities by taking on interns and trainees to help them build skills in sheet metal work.
Having navigated the challenges of the construction industry for nearly three decades, Windhoek Gutter Supplies continues to thrive through resilience, customer focus, and a reputation for quality and reliability.
