Lighting up the world in style

Light remains a necessity and Luminaires Direct delivers this necessity – whether indoors or outdoors – with style.Luminaires Direct is a Namibian-owned independent lighting company with branches in Windhoek and Swakopmund, providing a comprehensive and diverse range of lighting products. Luminaires Direct strives to offer the latest trends, technical developments, and top quality lighting products and to provide customers with the best possible service and advice. Here clients can expect to find a large range of EGLO products that are immediately available while they are also the proud distributors of other brand names. And if they don’t have it in stock, they will gladly order it for you. Co-owner and founder of Luminaires Direct, Claudia Spoerer, started the business with only one employee in 2015, which has since grown to three branches. The Austrian EGLO group which specialises in domestic lights, approached Luminaires at the early stages of its growth to distribute and sell its products. “We experienced a few challenges along the way and at the moment the exchange rate is not in our favour. However, we continue to import products regularly to offer our clients the best lighting at the best pricing,” she said.Luminaires Direct offers a large variety of pendants, wall lights, ceiling lights and outdoor lights as well as wall switches, plugs and fans. The pendants include chandeliers, plain lights as well as LED lights of different shapes and sizes, as well as more rustic-styled options.Amongst the outdoor selection, the Fumangali range remains a showstopper which is specifically designed for the coastal areas due to its non-corrosive and rust-free nature. Along with brilliant sales representatives, clients are offered the luxury of receiving advice and assistance on the style and lighting that suits their interior design.
