AC Promotions rising star and reigning WBO Africa Super Featherweight Champion Flame “Special One” Nangolo is set to defend his crown on 25 April 2026 at the Roman Catholic Hall in Windhoek.

Nangolo has recently broken into the World Boxing Organization’s Top 15 rankings, a significant milestone that places him firmly on the pathway towards a future world title opportunity.

As part of preparations for this crucial title defence, Nangolo is expected to depart for a high-performance training camp in Las Vegas, where he will fine-tune his skills ahead of his showdown against an opponent still to be approved by the WBO committee.

Call for sponsorship and government support

The upcoming championship bout presents a major challenge for AC Promotions, as the event is currently without sponsorship to cover essential logistics, including WBO sanctioning fees and operational costs. The promoters are therefore appealing to corporate companies to come on board and partner in making this historic event a success.

AC Promotions also respectfully calls upon the Ministry of Education, Sport and Innovation, through its sports budget, to support professional boxing. Promoters play a vital role in athlete development by creating platforms for fighters to compete, grow and gain international exposure.

In the absence of commercial sponsorship, organisers believe government support could help ensure the continued growth of professional boxing and strengthen Namibia’s representation on the global stage.

Ticket information

• General admission: N$300 per person
• VIP table seating: N$20,000 per table (10 people)

Corporate companies and institutions are strongly encouraged to purchase VIP tables, which will significantly assist in raising funds to cover WBO sanctioning fees and other logistical requirements.

Together, stakeholders and fans can help turn Nangolo’s title defence into a landmark event for Namibian boxing.
