Landless People's Movement (LPM)



Bernardus Clinton Swartbooi het weggebreek van Swapo toe hy in 2017 weens kritiek teen die regering gedwing is om as adjunkminister van grondhervorming te bedank. Hy is in 2015 in die pos aangestel.

Hy en volgelinge het hierop die Landless People's Movement (LPM) gestig.

Swartbooi is op Tses gebore op 11 Oktober 1977.

Hy het skoolgegaan op Keetmanshoop en is 'n voormalige sekretaris-generaal en president van die Namibië Nasionale Studente-organisasie (Nanso). Hy is 'n gekwalifiseerde onderwysers en het 'n regsgraad.

Volgens Swartbooi het die eerste nasionale grondkonferensie in 1991 nooit die vraagstuk behoorlik aangespreek nie. Radikale grond- en landbouhervorming is die rugraat van LPM-beleid.
