Twee sterf weens elektriese skokke

'n Man van 28 en 'n 10-jarige meisie het die afgelope naweek in twee afsonderlike voorvalle gesterf toe hulle elektriese skokke opgedoen het.

Volgens die polisie se misdaadverslag is Penehafo Modestus (10) Vrydagmiddag in die Ombili-nedersetting in Windhoek in 'n sinkkiosk dood. Sy het skynbaar aan 'n elektriese verlengingskoord geraak waarmee krag van 'n ander sinkgebou af na die kiosk aangelê is.

Mnr. Timotheus Liepke (28) is Sondagoggend in Mondesa by Swakopmund doodgeskok toe hy elektriese kabels van 'n kragopwekker af aan 'n battery gekoppel het sonder om die elektriese transformator aan te skakel wat die spanning verlaag. Die polisie stel ondersoek in na beide dié voorvalle.
