Trade balance deficit shrinks in 2017
Namibia ended last year with a trade balance deficit of nearly N$24.5 billion, figures released by the Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) this morning show.
The deficit is N$5.55 billion or 18.5% lower than that of 2016.
Exports amounted to nearly N$63.6 billion last year, while imports totalled about N$87.99 billion.
