Subeb is BA?s player of the year

Goalkeeper ArnoldSubeb was namedPlayer of the Year by FNB Black Africa Football Club at a glittering event held in Windhoek. Black Africa, champions of the last two premier league seasons, is one of the FNB Namibia sponsored soccer clubs in Namibia and ran this competition in co-operation with the bank.

FNB awarded the Player of the Year with N$20 000, says Dawn Humphries, Communications Manager at FNB Namibia. ?Hard work, dedication and commitment are words that FNB Namibia lives by ? both in terms of banking and the support we give. If someone displays these qualities on a consistent basis they deserve to be acknowledged. We congratulate Arnold on his achievement and hope that he will remain true to the sport and himself for many years to come.?

FNB Namibia and Black Africa ran a SMS competition where the public had the chance to vote for the five finalists of BA?s player of the year. Subeb received most votesby the public, thus making him the winner.
