Spray cancer away

The Cancer Association of Namibia (CAN) hosted their annual Spray-a-Thon on a new and nationally-inclusive platform during February, March and April.

The grand total saw a surplus of N$242 000 deposited into the trust accounts of the association – all earmarked to impact the lives of children fighting cancer in Namibia.

Hosted nationwide in Windhoek, Swakopmund, Walvis Bay, Rehoboth, ­Mariental, Keetmanshoop, Otjiwarongo and Ondangwa, CAN thanks the Namibian public for once again opening their hearts and wallets to support the cause.

Funds will be used to support the newly-opened Chica Interim Home for brave young child patients receiving treatment in Windhoek.
