Ricky’s Custom Car Show shines again
Car enthusiasts were in for a treat at the former Ramatex factory on Saturday.
This year’s Ricky’s Custom Car Show was truly one for the books, with the organisers and competitors taking the event to levels not seen before locally.
Ramatex’s massive halls played host to hundreds of car-crazy enthusiasts and some of the most audaciously modified vehicles in the country.
Besides the hotly contested showdown for the title of best car at the show, attendees also got to enjoy a number of sub-category events, such as car limbo, a sound-off and an incredible live build, where Ricky and his team took a stock-standard Volkswagen Polo and transformed it right in front of an enthralled crowd.
Here’s a look at some of the action that took place on Saturday.
