Langer Heinrich Sponsors Swakopmund Reiterverein
ON Saturday and Sunday, the 3rd annual Langer Heinrich Uranium equestrian tournament will take place at the Reiterverein Swakopmund. The Langer Heinrich Uranium (LHU) showjumping tournament, hosted by the Reiterverein Swakopmund (RVS) has become a highlight on the Namibian showjumping calendar.
Thanks to supporters and sponsors like LHU, the RVS has not only managed to increase their annual tournaments while promoting Swakopmund, but have been able to successfully introduce less fortunate as well as young riders to the sport. The LHU tournament is the first official tournament on the Namibian showjumping calendar.
With over 50 entries received, the tournament will start at 09:00 on Saturday. While the Langer Heinrich Challenge will provide lots of fun for young and old, on a serious note, the Accumulator and Joker Top Score events promise to provide spectators and riders with some breathtaking moments.
For the second time in history, the Namibian Equestrian Long Jump event will be held on Sunday. South Africa’s Mike McHardy is the showjumping course designer for this outstanding event.
All events will be judged strictly according to the national NAMEF and international FEI rules by national chief judge, Sabine Reimers with assistance from Betty Alfheim and Irene Eysselein. The RVS and LHU Team encourage the public to join them this weekend for a fun-filled and exciting equestrian tournament
