Estelle de Bruyn - Met die bekendstelling van die Vyfde Nasionale Ontwikkelingsplan (NDP5) vanoggend by Staatshuis het pres. Hage Geingob gesê hy hoop dié plan sal ver gaan om die land na ‘n gevorderde ontwikkelingsfase te neem met die kapasiteit om gesofistikeerde tegnologie te produseer.
“Aanvanklik sal dit die modernisering en opgradering van ons produksiesektore en -stelsels insluitende landbou, vervaardiging, visserye, mynbou en toerisme behels. Deur op hierdie sektore te fokus, sal ons in staat wees om meer werkgeleenthede te skep om nuwe toetreders tot die arbeidsmark te absorbeer,” het Geingob gesê.
