Jo-Maré Duddy - Die staatsbeheerde China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) het Paladin Energy, die meerderheidsaandeelhouer in Langer Heinrich, beopdrag om ‘n redelike markprys vir sy belang in dié Namibiese uraanmyn te bepaal.
Paladin besit 75% van Langer Heinrich.
Paladin het verlede maand gewaarsku sekere solvensie-scenarios kan CNNC in staat stel om dié belang in Langer Heinrich te bekom.
Paladin se skuldverpligtinge tot die einde van 2017 – waarvan die eerste op 30 April betaalbaar is – beloop meer as US$240 miljoen. Om te verseker dat dat die groep sy skuld kan vereffen en as ‘n lopende bedryf voortbestaan, is ‘n herstrukturering van sy balansstaat verlede in Januarie voorgestel.
Verhandeling in Paladin is vanoggend op die Namibiese aandelebeurs (NSX), asook die beure in Australië en Toronto gestaak.
