Call unto me, and I will answer

All glory, honour and praise to our Heavenly Father, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit for bringing us into this amazing year.

The year 2020. A new year, a new decade.

To those who have lost loved ones to untimely deaths over the holiday season, may the Lord in His mercy “restore your soul” as you continue to hope in Him.

I believe this is the year spoken about in Jeremiah 33:3 King James Bible

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knows not.”

With the emphasis on “show” in order to see what the Lord will show, we must be watchful and have our eyes open to the truth of God’s Word.

The Lord's desire is to bless His Church collectively and His people individually with “great and mighty things”. I believe this year will be all about being able to see more clearly what is on God’s heart for His earth. His vision for His Church.

So for all of us:

Ephesians 1:17 – 20

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him:

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling is, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.

And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us word who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places.
