Venaani gaan Tsvangirai se begrafnis bywoon

Die leier van die Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) gaan die begrafnis van die ontslape Zimbabwiese opposisieleier, mnr. Morgan Tsvangirai van die Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) bywoon. Tsvangirai het Woensdag sy stryd teen kolonkanker in ’n hospitaal in Suid-Afrika verloor.
Volgens mnr. McHenry Venaani het hy ’n nou verhouding met Tsvangirai gehad en het hulle belangstelling in demokratiese verandering, ekonomiese emansipasie en die algemene welstand gedeel van die gemeenskappe wat hulle in die Suider-Afrikaanse Ontwikkelingsgemeenskap (SADC) gedien het.
“Die wêreld het ’n groot leier en staatsman verloor. Nie baie individue het so hard soos hy vir vir demokrasie en ’n demokratiese regering geveg nie. Afrika, Zimbabwe en die wêreld het ’n leier en ’n vegter verloor,” het Venaani gesê. - Nampa
