Two centres supported by Alexander Forbes and friends

24 June 2016 | Gemeenskap
Alexander Forbes proudly supports the “Beautiful Kidz” Centre in Katutura/Damara Location, as well as the Early Childhood Development Centre in Okandjira, Ovitoto, by contributing towards their monthly food bill.
Children from the area surrounding the centres come from the poorest families. HIV/AIDS, amongst other disadvantages and ailments, drastically affects their livelihood. Children and families struggle to survive under these circumstances. Children are generally neglected emotionally, physically and spiritually.
At Beautiful Kidz the children are provided with two warm wholesome meals a day thanks to Alexander Forbes’ sponsorship of. A good meal contributes towards a healthy body and an alert mind. In order to grow strong leaders for the future we have to feed and educate our children and youth.
Alexander Forbes pledged to support the centres for one full year with the intention to continue sponsoring the centres for another two years. Hindjou Gardening has joined Alexander Forbes’ mission, by supplying the centres in Katutura and Ovitoto with vegetables from his plot, as he also benefited from sponsorships from lexander Forbes for the gardening project in Okakarara.
