SpongeBob SquarePants visits Namibia

Absorbent TV hero, pop culture phenomenon and box office sensation, SpongeBob SquarePants, made his first appearance in Windhoek Namibia on Friday 26 June 2009, courtesy of DStv and Nickelodeon.

Sponge Bob SquarePants made surprise visits to three schools in Windhoek on Friday 26 June 09. He went to Eros Primary School; Ruth Albrecht’s Rainbow School and Convent of the Holy Cross. He not only surprised the school children with visits he also presented them with Nickelodeon goodies.

SpongeBob SquarePants also went to surprise DStv subscribers at the MultiChoice Namibia offices on Friday afternoon. Children and parents all took part in welcoming SpongeBob SquarePants to MultiChoice Namibia.

The little guy with a big heart, who has made being square yellow and porous into the epitome of cool took time out of his hectic schedule to visit Namibia from 26th – 28th June.
