SBN supports Eenhana Trade and Business Expo

08 June 2010 | Die Mark
FOR the third consecutive year, Standard Bank Namibia (SBN) is associated with the Eenhana Trade and Business Expo thatwill take place from 26 July to 31 July.

This year Standard Bank, who started its partnership with the Eenhana Town Council in 2008, pledged N$45 000 towards the costs of the Expo, and promised to continue supporting the development of Eenhana.

SBN’s head of marketing, Mr Thaddius Maswahu, said during the pledging of the funds: “Standard Bank will continue to be active in various local towns by participating and contributing towards the welfare of the communities. This is the third consecutive year that we pledge our commitment, and it is very rewarding to know that Standard Bank Namibia has to date invested over N$200 000 to the vibrant town of Eenhana.

“This coincides well with our strategy of developing small towns across the country, and we are therefore proud to be a supporter and participant of the Eenhana, Okakarara, Rundu, Katima Mulilo and Ongwediva Trade Fairs.”

Mr Maswahu further said that it is important for Standard Bank Namibia to upgrade and be involved in the communities in which it operates.

Equally important is their determination to make a real difference by expanding and upgrading their retail network which enables them to provide a quality service to their customers.
