RMB sponsors Song Night with Musical Equipment

Last week RMB Namibia''s CSI team members Odille Tjongarero and Sindano Nekundi handed over sponsored music equipment to the value of N$46 796 to Lize Ehlers, founder of Song Night as well as Bradley Anthony, ambassador for Song Night 2017. Song Night founder Lize Ehlers announced at this year''s finale that the RMB CSI, through the FNB Foundation Trust, have renewed their agreement and will be sponsoring the event for another year in 2017 with approximately N$117 000. RMB''s total contribution since inception amounts to more than N$276 000. Many artists have gone on to have successful music careers.

Lize Ehlers expressed her gratitude saying that “RMB through the FNB Foundation Trust has shown incredible belief in Song Night and all the singers that have shone on its stage. The new equipment - a drum set, keyboard and acoustic guitar - allows us to do more work in nurturing the Namibian sound and mentoring aspiring singers. Thank you for continuing this journey with us.” It has been a busy year for Song Night with many accomplishments, changes and great developments.

RMB sponsored N$70 500 toward the 2017 shows. “It is a pleasure for us to be part of this initiative to improve our music industry. Besides a cash sponsorship we felt that the music equipment would be greatly beneficial in the long run, as the cost of hiring equipment will be eliminated, allowing Song Night to operate more soundly,” commented RMB Namibia''s, Odille Tjongarero.
