Tanja Bause - Die Namibiese polisie is op soek na mnr. Fillipus Ikefelwa, ’n verdagte in ’n moordsaak.

Volgens hoofinsp. Kauna Shikwambi, polisiewoorvoerder, is die verdagte ’n polisiebeampte wat sedert die voorval bedank het.

“Die man is in April 2013 by die ope mark op Okuryangava aangeval. Hy het uit selfverdediging sy pistool uitgehaal en op die aanvallers geskiet. Een is doodgeskiet,” het sy gesê.

Volgens Shikwambi is ’n ondersoek van stapel gestuur wat nog nie voltooi is nie en niemand is al in hegtenis geneem nie.

“Die hofdossier is onlangs teruggestuur met die opdrag om meer inligting by die verdagte te kry. Maar ons kan nie vir Ikefelwa opspoor nie. Dus vra ons die gemeenskap om ons te help,” het sy gesê.
