Oshikango gets Cell One
CELL One has opened another shop for the benefit of customers living and working in and around Oshikango near the common border with Angola. The shop offers a full range of services, including postpaid and prepaid, mobile internet, airtime and starterpack sales, SIM card replacements, payment of bills, latest mobile phones and most importantly, service and advice for customers from knowledgeable sales advisors.
The opening hours of the Oshikango shop are 08:00 to 17:00 from Monday to Friday and 08:00 to 13:00 on Saturday. Cell One was well received and welcomed to Oshikango by councillor P Namundjebo of the Helao Nafidi town council, who officiated at the opening ceremony. Speaking at the occasion, Cell One’s director of Corporate Strategy and Business Development, Dr Leake Hangala, said the Oshikango border post is one of the busiest border crossings in Namibia which makes mobile communication a vital necessity for day to day business.
He added that Cell One’s presence will further help diversify the economy of this region as it brings about direct and indirect commercial opportunities for entrepreneurs in various economic sectors.
After celebrating its first anniversary recently, Cell One has made a commitment to provide customers with widely accessible and affordable mobile communication services.
Cell One’s shop at Oshikango is the twelfth such outlet in the country, with more to come as the company expands its network throughout Namibia. Other shops have been established in Windhoek (5), Walvis Bay, Swakopmund, Tsumeb, Ondangwa, and Oshakati.
