Francoise Steynberg - 'n Vragmotorbestuurder (59) van Absolute Logistics, wat glo Vrydag buite die Internasionale Lughawe Hosea Kutako met dwelms van meer as 'n halfmiljoen Namibiese dollar betrap is, het gister op twee dwelmverwante klagte in die Windhoek-landdroshof in Katutura verskyn.

Volgens die Namibiese polisie se misdaadverslag is die beskuldigde, mnr. Michael Fortuin, met 4 205 Mandrax-tablette ter waarde van N$504 600 tydens 'n polisiesoektog in sy besit gevind.

"Die vragmotorbestuurder was op pad na Gobabis," lui die verslag.

Fortuin het op klagte van die onwettige besit van en handel in verslawende dwelms voor landdros Johannes Shuuveni verskyn.

Die landdros het die saak tot 5 Oktober uitgestel sodat die beskuldigde om borgtog aansoek kan doen.

Mnr. Pieter Smit het vir die staat verskyn.

Volgens 'n bron van Absolute Logistics is Fortuin summier ontslaan.
