leo Supports Pro-Tennis Tournament
leo recently supported the Pro-Tennis Academy by sponsoring one of their most successful tournaments held in the capital last weekend. The tournament proved to be a major success with an overwhelming number of entries which attracted players not only from the capital, but also from other towns like Swakopmund, Outjo and Rehoboth.
A record number of 74 players participated. It was also the first time that mini-tennis was included in the same event as the mid-court and full-court categories. It was an exceptionally strong field especially in the advanced group where 12 of Namibia’s top junior players competed – including Henco Serdyn, Michael Muller, Jonathan Edmunds, Thomas Geier, Calla Joone, to mention just a few.
“Leo has taken the initiative in sponsoring such events where players can showcase their talent while at the same time investing in the youth. We can look forward to this relationship growing from strength to strength,” said Elizma Nortje, head coach and director of Pro-Tennis Academy.
