Internasionale ruimtestasie vlieg oor Windhoek

Die internasionale ruimtestasie sal vanaand omstreeks 19:41 vir ‘n hele vier minute lank met die blote oog vanaf Windhoek sigbaar wees.

Dit is nou ás weerstoestande dit toelaat.

Volgens NASA se webwerf spotthestation.nasa.gov, is dit maklik om raak te sien as jy weet waar en wanneer om te kyk. “Dit lyk soos ‘n vinnig bewegende vliegtuig, net báie hoër en dit vlieg duisende km per uur vinniger. Dit sal 10° bó noord-noord-wes te sien wees.

Die internasionale ruimtestasie sal ook nog môre, Woensdag en Vrydag vanaf Windhoek te sien wees.

Die foto van die suidooste van Namibië, wat vanuit die internasionale ruimtestasie geneem is, is vroeër vanjaar deur die Europese Ruimte-agentskap (ESA) vrygestel.
