Motoriste was gister warm onder die kraag toe verkeer vir langer as 'n halfuur opgedam het op die pad tussen Okahandja en Karibib waar die gedenkdiens vir die slagoffer van die massa-padslagting op 4 Desember gehou is. Ten minste 100 mense was teenwoordig by dié geleentheid om 14:00 waarvoor 'n tent in die middel van die pad opgerig was. Hierdie grubotsing het die lewens van tien mense geëis.
