Die getal Covid-19-verwante sterftes het met vyf tot 444 gestyg sedert die eerste geval op 13 Maart verlede jaar aangeteken is. Vandag se vyf sterftes sluit twee mans van Windhoek, onderskeidelik 61 en 48 jaar oud, 'n 72-jarige vrou en 68-jarige man van Rehoboth en 'n 55-jarige vrou van Grootfontein in. Vandag is 150 nuwe gevalle aangemeld waarvan 87 leerlinge, ses onderwysers en sewe gevangenes is.

Die aktiewe gevalle staan tans op 1 992 waarvan 159 in die hospitaal en 28 in die ICU is. Nog 315 mense het herstel wat die totaal op 37 893 te staan bring. Tans word 4 003 kontakte gemonitor en 1 805 mense is in kwarantyn.
