Die kontemporêre Namibiese balletkonsert Aivilo word deur die Nasionale Teater van Namibië (NTN), in samewerking met Haus of Muller, aangebied.

Aivilo gaan oor ‘n tiener wat verskeie uitdagings in die lewe in die gesig staar.

Ten spyte van haar pogings om ernstige versoekings te weerstaan, vind sy haarself in ’n bose wêreld en manifestasies daarvan vasgevang.

Haar broer, Lilo, is saam met haar op reis terwyl sy die lewe se goed en sleg teenoor mekaar moet opweeg.

Die Namibiese regisseur Sven-Eric Möller is nie ’n nuweling wanneer dit by groot verhoogproduksies kom nie, en het al verskeie hoofrolle in Suid-Afrikanse verhoogproduksies vertolk.

Hy was onder meer in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Funny Girl en Westside Story te sien.

In Oktober 2018 het hy na Namibië teruggekeer en saam met Sandy Rudd aan die produksie I Am John gewerk.

Aivilo was Möller se breinkind en hy het dit ook geregisseer.

Die konsert is van 22 tot 24 November op die NTN-verhoog te sien.
