Leaders from the manufacturing, retail, gem laboratory and education sectors of the American diamond industry, including a group of American Gem Society retailers, visited the Moria Grace children’s home where they handed over cheques and cash donations to the value of N$125 000.
The group also handed out toys and stationary to the children staying at the shelter. The money will be used to complete the building of the new complex in Katutura where 84 children is currently staying.
