Enduro series reaches round 6

THE Windhoek Motor Club Enduro Working Group is staging the second last of seven Motorcycle Enduro racing events in the Bank Windhoek National Enduro Series 2010 this Saturday at the Tony Rust Race Track just outside Windhoek. This race is co-sponsored by CRP (Construction Machinery, Replacement Parts and Plants).

“We wish to express our appreciation towards the series sponsor Bank Windhoek. A big thank you also goes to CRP for making this race possible,” said the chairman of the Enduro Working Group of the Windhoek Motor Club, Heiko Hennes.

The event will start at 07:00 with the prize-giving ceremony scheduled for 19:30 at the venue. All national classes will have to complete four laps of the 35 km route which will prove to be a challenging one, considering the rocky sections and river beds this area is known for. The ladies quads will do three laps with the support classes having to do two laps to find the victor amongst the riders.

In the junior quad class the entrants will need to complete two laps. The public are invited to support this event with great spectator points close to the route and the refueling area. Refreshments will be on sale during the day.
