7.02.2012 Rather stay above board
Mr. Kaspar N. Hambabi writes:
ALLOW me space to contribute on issues affecting development and the 2.2 million population within the Namibian context. It has been a time to share my ideology based on very serious daily basic necessities such as food, water, electricity and more needs for people, survival.
However, in my topic I will touch on the issues of dependance and so forth. When I look at human beings if certain basic needs, such as food, water, heroes, soldiers, judges, prophets, fortune tellers, statesmen, military, civilian leaders, politicians and those that used magic to control events, definitely human beings will not ever exist.
Therefore it is very important to be governed by people with the potential to change society and people’s lives in general. One aspect of the values in our Namibian context is respect for our elders, respect for our superiors. It is not about who has better clothes, money, food, cars to lead people when trouble comes. It is not even how a person knows how to insult or to use power that can determine the quality of a leader, but what matters is discipline, order and to value the effort of the work done by a particular leader or person. Any work done with a righteous way will bring happiness to any leader and things will go well with such a leader.
That leader will be able to enjoy what they have worked for. It is very important to make a difference between evil people and doomed people. What they have done to others, will now be done to them. Any money or scheme or corrupted way of doing business will never be able to stand and money cheated through dangerous dealings will bring misery and poverty to those that are enjoying it. It is very important to choose or elect leaders who do not mislead this 2.2 million population so that we do not know which way to turn.
