Jagger resigns from CoD

Rehoboth Town Council press release:

I, Benjamin Jagger, previously known as the councillor from the side of Congress of Democrats (CoD) obtaining a seat on the Rehoboth Town Council, hereby announce my resignation from the CoD with immediate effect on the date of 19 October 2009.

With a noted letter on my decision which states that the political maturity of the party is very low and therefore I do not see any future with the CoD party whom I was associated with for the past years.

My decision brings me to a point that no visible development for the people which I am serving is taking place which is one of my disappointments. One of the main issues is that the CoD party suspended me on 13 June 2009 from the Rehoboth Town Council and again re-appointed me on 16 September without any reasons, which clarifies my disappointment and brought a scandal towards my human dignity in society.

Further acknowledging is that the CoD party did not practice their political manifesto for the benefits of their comrades, which I have been assisting with for the past ten years until my resignation.

I therefore want to inform the public that I am at this stage joining the Democratic Movement for Change (DMC).

As one of the nominated candidates for DMC for the Presidential and National Assembly elections, I am 3rd on the list. My dream is to empower my development vision in the Democratic Movement for Change.

The CoD political party has no meaning and I just want to apologize to the people who have been following me. I therefore want to advise you not to follow a sinking ship. I want to make use of my democratic right to change a vision like this for Democratic Movement for Change.

Therefore, my advice for my followers is, people, please reconsider your decision when it comes to your development!

One of my desires is to see the growing up of children to a brighter future throughout Namibia. Namibia, see me with that eyes!
