Auas Motors and Namibia Motors have reached an agreement in terms of which the operations of Namibia Motors will be consolidated into Auas Motors with effect from 1 August. Namibia Motors, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hangala Group, sells and services the General Motors vehicle brands, Chevrolet, Isuzu and Opel in Northern Namibia.
The company have service centres and sales outlets in Otjiwarongo and Oshakati. In terms of the business agreement the provision of services such as vehicle sales, repairs and maintainance and parts sales at the former Namibia Motors’s premises at Otjiwarongo and Oshakati, will be delivered by Auas Motors.
Furthermore, Dr Leake Hangala, executive chairman of the Hangala Group, will become a nonexecutivedirector of Auas Motors.

Commenting on the deal, Mr Nico Tromp, Chairman of Auas Motors said : “Auas Motors welcomes the opportunity to strengthen its presence in the most densely populated area of our country.
