Nakawa joins Air Namibia

Paul Homateni Nakawa (photo) was appointed as Air Namibia’s new Head of Corporate Communications, effective 2 January 2012.

According to a press release by Air Namibia, Nakawa brings along a wealth of experience, which extends from his previous engagement with diverse working backgrounds in the education sector, banking sector and media, all at management level. He has distinguished himself as a teacher executive, renowned public speaker, poet and a prolific writer, making him a great asset to Air Namibia as its Head of Corporate Communications.

Nakawa is a dedicated young executive and a team player with big dreams, great business acumen and remarkable interpersonal relationship and communication skills.

His academic qualifications were accomplished both in Namibia and South Africa. He has published books that are prescribed to be used in schools, in various phases.

“Nakawa’s passion and commitment in the field of communication gives us more reasons for looking into positive realisation of Air Namibia’s five year strategic business plan which promises to refine our excellent customer relationship and enhance business partnership with all our stakeholders.
