Castle Brewing signs agreement with NAFAU

Standing f.l.t.r.: Efeninditye Haikela (verification officer, NAFAU); Ismael Kaura (shop steward, CBN); Lemmy Shapopi (HR Manager, CBN). Seated: Simon Muukapo (branch manager, Windhoek, NAFAU) and Cobus Bruwer (MD of CBN).
CASTLE Brewing Namibia has signed a recognition agreement with NAFAU on the 20th of January 2010.

CBN employees in the bargaining unit have decided to change unions from the Namibia Wholesale and Retail Workers Union to NAFAU.

This has happened through a ballot by the bargaining unit.

CBN has developed good relations in a short period of time leading from last year up to the signing of the recognition agreement last week.

“We are confident that CBN and NAFAU will continue to maintain the good momentum that we have started and do so for many years to come,” Mr Lemmy Shapopi, Manager Corporate Affairs and HR, said at the signing of the agreement.
