Bank Windhoek’s SureSave and VIBE launch today

BANK Windhoek has once again proven that it stays in the forefront of banking innovation in Namibia with the launch of two new and exciting banking products on the same day. These two new products are the result of the bank’s constant striving to identify and address the specific banking needs of its clients. The two new banking products being launched today are called VIBE and SureSave.

VIBE is a new banking package for tertiary students, designed to cater for their specific needs, while SureSave is a new investment product, enabling clients to save for the longer term. “SureSave is an accessible, low risk investment product offering a favourable market related investment return, with no commission or charges deducted, aimed at encouraging an investment culture amongst Bank Windhoek’s existing, as well as potential clients. Clients can start investing on their Sure- Save account by signing a debit order from as little as N$100 per month for a minimum period of 12 months. The SureSave account is a low-risk stable income investment as it is not exposed to equity market fluctuations.

“VIBE account holders can look forward to transact with their own Visa Electron Debit Card, offering ATM withdrawals and Point of Sale (POS) purchases. Bank Windhoek also gives VIBE account holders access to a student loan, subject to our normal credit criteria and free life cover worth N$3 000. Access to internet banking and cell phone banking is also offered as part of the VIBE package. VIBE is a bridging product for registered full-time or part-time students aged between 16 and 30 years of age who have left school and have not started their careers yet”, said James Hill, Managing Director of Bank Windhoek.

“The bank aims to offer a wide range of products and services that will enable our clients to achieve financial independence. By constantly innovating new products such as VIBE and Sure- Save, our clients now have an even bigger range of products to choose from”, added Marlize Horn, the bank’s Senior Manager of Marketing and Corporate Communication Services.
